Newborns
A newborn session is generally recommended within baby’s first 7 to 14 days of life. Before the session we will call you and plan the shoot together. We will discuss video layout themes, titles and graphics for your DVD. We will also discuss the location, props and clothes, your requirements and of course ours to make sure the shoot runs smoothly and is stress free.
The sessions will be at a location of your choice and can take between 1 to 3 hours, however we will make every effort to accommodate a newborn baby, to allow for feedings and changing. The session itself will be in three sections. Firstly video portraits will capture the baby’s face, moving tiny hands and feet, bottoms and if you feel comfortable, feeding. In the next part of the session we will capture images of baby with their parents and siblings. Lastly, if baby is still content, I can capture some artistic shots of baby in different backgrounds and props.
It is advisable that your session be booked while you are still expecting.
